Setting up a registered training organisation (RTO) can seem complex and overwhelming.
RTOs are responsible for the delivery of nationally recognised training and for ensuring that accredited training meets the standards required by the Australian quality framework and the National Regulator ASQA, as well as the expectations of learners, employers and industry.
A part of your RTO ASQA application is a sound business plan. Most important to this will be determining what is unique about the training and assessment your RTO will offer.
Part of this will be identifying the qualifications and units of competency your RTO will have on scope. You’ll need to demonstrate your organisations capacity and capabilities to deliver effective training for these units.
Many of these tasks rely on the selection and supply of quality training and assessment resources. Download The RTO Resource Handbook - a complete guide to selecting quality learning and assessment support resources.
